Jones-Loflin

You can build a stronger team by remembering just four words: Grow, Cultivate, Prune, and Harvest. In this innovative and interactive training program built on the timeless practices of a gardener, snow operations leaders will discover a comprehensive system to take the performance of everyone on their team to the next level. From practicing proactive accountability to avoiding “trigger words” and asking better questions, attendees identify where change is needed in their leadership style and take productive action. It’s time to get your hands dirty and help everyone on your team deliver their best work.

Key takeaways:

  • Creating a high trust environment for your team
  • Communicating goals and expectations with greater clarity
  • Using more of your time for developing the talent on your team
  • Identifying routines that will increase team member engagement and effectiveness
  • Address issues related to poor performance more effectively

As snow operations leaders driving efficiency while delivering outstanding service is key to a happy client and a boss with his eye on the bottom line. In this field exercise, attendees will put their field operations planning and execution skills to the test. Using our host site and a customized storm scenario attendees will create a plan of attack that delivers the contracted level of service as efficiently as possible with the resources available to them.

Eliminating Waste in Field Operations

Moderated by Rick Kier, CSP

After the field exercise is complete, we’ll come back together to learn how cycle time, resource allocation, appropriate use of labor and equipment and more must all work in concert to eliminate waste and drive efficiencies in field operations. Attendees will be able to see how their plan held up to best practices and identify strategies for improvement.
