Show Your Badge Program
Once downtown, you can ditch your cars and either walk around the city or ride one of the Regional Transit Authority's (known to Clevelanders as RTA
) buses and rail routes into surrounding neighborhoods and inner-ring suburbs. RTA offers four downtown trolley routes – COMPLETELY FREE – that run every 10-15 minutes, seven days a week.
Destination Cleveland works with area venues and business's to offer a Show Your Badge Program
which offers specials on sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, bars and more to meetings and convention attendees. To participate, simply show your symposium badge to any of the participating partners listed and receive their exclusive offer. If your family is coming to CLE and do not have a badge, they can ask someone at the registration desk to print them a special pass to use for this program. The pass will not grant family members/guests access to any symposium functions unless they have specifically registered for the show or special events.
