Are you up for the challenge?

SIMA’s 24th Annual Snow & Ice Symposium is going to look like no other. While we are hopeful that in-person events will be back to somewhat normal by summer, it’s not guaranteed. So we are operating under the possibility that in-person capacity limits and social distancing requirements will still be in place come show time.

Don’t despair, though! Why have one Best Show in Snow when you can have … FOUR!

In 2021, SIMA will pilot the Symposium Roadshow — four smaller, strategically located events that will bring all the things people love about the show into a smaller footprint, possibly closer to home.

As we get closer to the events, if we are able to expand capacity we will. While the pandemic restrictions are the primary driver of the 2021 Symposium design, we are excited to bring the Best Show in Snow to other areas of the country and perhaps welcome snow and ice pros who’ve never experienced a Symposium.

Event registration will open in March 2021. In an effort to have as many different attendees through the four events, each person will only be able to select one event to attend. These events are pre-registration only; no onsite registration will be offered.

Each Symposium Road Show event will adhere to all city/state/venue requirements to keep attendees safe, including temperature checks/daily health screen, social distancing layouts, mask requirements, and limited movement/interaction between pods. Attendees must agree to these requirements during the registration process; those found not following will be asked to leave the event.
