Bruce Moore Sr. and Bruce Moore Jr. are great examples of first-generation transitioning to second-generation companies that we can all learn from. I think the following words from their website show that family is part of the culture: “Eastern Land Management has been a family-owned business since 1976.” Another part of their culture is safety, and this was discovered last year when some of their management team attended a Face-to-Face and shared the success they were having. They provide a full line of exterior landscape services from commercial office buildings to corporate parks to shopping centers to college campuses and industrial facilities. With this Face-to-Face taking place in July, we will have the opportunity to focus more on Snow Operations and look forward to having many SIMA members in attendance.
