Sheri Singer of Singer Communications will provide a workshop that will let you know what to expect when talking to Congressional staffers, the best ways to deliver messages and what follow-up to conduct after your meetings.

Day on the Hill Report - A brief review of what was discussed and learned at the snow and ice Day on the Hill. Review of 2014 Think Tank - Progress on SIMA Standards has been made since last year. What has that progress been and how can it be used for this year’s discussion and solutions? Systemic Issue Discussion - Attendees will work in small groups to discuss the systemic issues that prevent success in the delivery of snow and ice management services. *Spend the late afternoon and evening sightseeing the historic US Capitol and area restaurants. |

Attendees will develop solutions to the systemic issues identified in Day 1 with a focus on avoiding consequences of the "race to the bottom." Solutions Implementation Workshop - Groups will work together to develop how solutions that were developed in Day 1 will be implemented after leaving the 'Think Tank.' Groups will then report out their solutions and implementation plans developed. |
