Registration Types & Fees

Full Registration 

Access to SIMA Update, Welcome Reception, educational sessions (concurrent and keynote sessions), trade show, Wednesday and Thursday morning breakfast, and Snack & Chat lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Full registrants can also select to attend the ticketed events listed below during registration.

*You must have a full registration to register for pre-conference workshops.

Members: $345 USD | $395 USD after 5/30
Non-members: $445 USD | $495 USD after 5/30

Day Pass

Concurrent sessions (including keynote), Snack & Chat lunch and trade show entrance on the day selected. During registration, day pass registrants can also select to attend the ticketed events listed below. The ticketed event must occur on the same day as the day pass. 

Members: $205 USD | $225 USD after 5/30
Non-members: $255 USD | $275 USD after 5/30

Trade Show Only

Trade Show Floor only access on Wednesday and Thursday.

Member and non-member: $35 USD


Is someone joining you in Montreal, but they aren't registered for the trade show or educational sessions? Guests are welcome to join a full or day pass attendee at our Awards Night and/or the Closing Event, which are separate ticketed events.

If you register online, you will immediately receive an electronic confirmation of your registration from Snow & Ice Management Association. (Don’t forget to add us to your Safe Senders list!) If you faxed or mailed in your registration form and have not received a confirmation within 10 business days, please contact the office at

Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by made on or before June 9, 2017. A refund of all fees, less a $25 processing fee (per registration), will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests postmarked after June 9, 2017 nor will they be given for no-shows. Please email cancellations to

Registration Changes/Additions/Receipts
Once you have completed your registration, you will be sent a confirmation email. In that email is a personalized link to the online registration portal where you can update registration information, change or add sessions, get a copy of your receipt/invoice or make a payment. Substitution Policy
Substitution of registration from one attendee to another (same type: member/non-member) is permitted prior to Friday, June 9, 2017. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant with written consent. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact/demographic information. Transfer Policy
A transfer of your registration (to a different registration type, i.e., switching from full registration to a day pass or trade show pass) is permitted prior to the conference by submitting written request to The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that modification. 

Privacy & Terms
The personal information gathered on the Symposium registration form is intended solely for the purpose of the Symposium. Exhibiting companies will receive a list of attendees immediately following the Symposium, with mailing address only (no phone or email). Exhibitors also have the option to purchase scanners to capture all contact information for attendees. The attendee can determine if they want the exhibitor to scan their badge to capture this information. This is the only way your personal information will be shared. Payment information gathered during registration is used solely for the purpose of the Symposium. Personal and payment information gathered online is through a secure website. SIMA will not share your payment information with any other party.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the 20th Annual Snow & Ice Symposium constitutes an agreement by the registrant to SIMA's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes.
