Snow Business magazine's mission is to deliver peer-driven insights, best practices and solutions to help snow and ice management professionals build stronger businesses, and to support the mission of the Snow & Ice Management Association.
The Editorial Advisory Committee’s work is central to that mission. The committee members represent a diverse group of interests in the industry who strive to guide the overall vision of the magazine and to plan and execute stories for the magazine, which is currently published seven times a year. Going forward in 2017, we expect this committee to begin looking beyond the magazine to also help shape content for the SIMA Library, members-only content, online initiatives, etc., as requested.
Committee members will be expected to serve as advocates for the magazine to ensure we are meeting readers' needs and to bring story ideas and any concerns to the committee for discussion and resolution. The ability to write well is not required but is desired for this committee in order for members to more actively contribute to the magazine and complementary products heading into 2017.
Applicants must have access to a phone and/or computer. Once the committee is formed, meeting dates and times will be permanently set.
